Welcome — I’m Grey Barona (they/them), a multidisciplinary artist and the founder of Lockhart Art Studios. Based in Virginia Beach, VA, my practice is rooted in ceramics but extends into sculpture, mixed media, and collaborative community work.
I currently teach as a beginner wheel throwing instructor at the Virginia Beach Art Center (VBAC) and serve as the Ceramic Program Director at the d’Art Center in Norfolk, VA. Lockhart Art Studios is where I share my work, process, and evolving collections — a space where form, identity, and story come together in clay and beyond.
